Nic + Desi: Broadway Song, Dance & Romance

Saturday, October 8, 2022

NIC+DESI sing, dance, and share their love story in this duo celebration of classic and contemporary Broadway!

Following star tuns on Broadway and in numerous nationally touring musicals, theatrical power couple Nicolas Dromard and Desireé Davar created this new duo act to be able to share their love of song and dance with venues worldwide. In this high-energy show, NIC+DESI bring audiences on their journey of love while performing stage and screen favorites, from Great American Songbook standards (“Shall We Dance,” “Cheek to Cheek,” “I Won’t Dance”) to hits from their favorite roles in Broadway’s JERSEY BOYS, WEST SIDE STORY, OKLAHOMA!, WICKED, and more! Available with a small combo of musicians, piano accompaniment, or professionally-recorded tracks, NIC+DESI captivate crowds with spectacular Broadway song and dance both in the traditional style and with a fresh, modern twist!

NICOLAS DROMARD originally hails from Ottawa, Ontario, but for the last 17 years, Nicolas has been traveling all over North America performing on Broadway and in National Tours. He was most recently seen on Broadway as Tommy DeVito in the closing cast of JERSEY BOYS. In March 2013, Nicolas was honored to close the Broadway production of MARY POPPINS in the lead role of Bert, which he also performed on tour. Other credits include WICKED, CABARET, 42ND STREET, HAIRSPRAY, MAMMA MIA!, OKLAHOMA!, WEST SIDE STORY, GYPSY, THE BOY FROM OZ with Hugh Jackman, and Irving Berlin’s WHITE CHRISTMAS. Fun fact: born to French-speaking parents, Nic didn’t learn English until the age of 7!

DESIREÉ DAVAR has performed all over the world from New York to Japan! She started dancing with her mother Kristi at the age of 4 in Orange County, CA, and since then she is proud to have starred as “Anita” in multiple productions of WEST SIDE STORY, including the Broadway revival, the International Tour, Sacramento Music Circus, The Ordway Center for the Performing Arts, and Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma City. Additional favorites include CHICAGO (“Velma”) at Village Theatre in Seattle, “Erma” in ANYTHING GOES at Goodspeed Opera House, and KISS ME, KATE and CAN-CAN at Papermill Playhouse. She was also a Featured Dancer in the TV series “Glee” and in the most recent film version of ANNIE.

“NIC+DESI are the real deal: a beautiful couple that sing, dance and act… and their love is palpable. Their performance was one of the best we have had on our stage and the audience felt the same way”
– Marc Robin, Executive Artistic Producer, Fulton Theatre (Lancaster PA)
